Do I need a coach?

The reasons and needs of an executive coach varies.

  • They could range from being “stuck” and can’t think of what else to do in order to move the organization forward

  • There may not be anyone at their level that they can have confidential conversations with

  • They believe if they were to change/improve something within themselves

  • They are ready to do something different but are not sure what that “something” is

  • They are looking for change, a different perspective, or have important goals to reach.

What ever the reason, the main purpose of coaching is to facilitate breakthroughs.  Personal or business.

Former Google CEO Eric Schmidt says the best advice he ever got was to get a coach. Bill Gates emphatically says everyone should have a coach. Venture capitalist Fred Wilson advocates coaching too, especially for first-time CEOs.

The coach may give new ideas, or draw out ideas from the individual.  The coach may provide encouraging motivation or may decide to push the individual or team to the next level.  The coach may listen and facilitate or direct.  Whatever it takes to systematically create a breakthrough.

Coaching Duration:

Fortnightly for a duration of one to two hours until the breakthrough objective is met.

Target Group:

  • Senior Managers

  • Managers

  • Key Project Execution Team Leaders
